LUSH Ultrabland Review

Since we're in the winter months, I started to notice that my makeup wipes were really drying out my skin! So I went into Lush a few weeks ago and asked for a moisturizing cleanser/makeup remover and this is what she gave me!

I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this stuff.

Ultrabland claims it be a, ultra-effective, ultra-gentle face cleanser. A rich, soft cleansing cream that cares gently for all skin types. I must say that completely agree with those claims. 

This cleanser gives my skin so much moister and takes all my caked on makeup off. You only need a little bit of product, I rub it into my dry skin, kind of like you would a lotion and then I wipe it off with a wet washcloth. I also use this on my eyes and it never leaves behind any mascara or eyeliner residue. 

I originally thought that this product would clog my pores and cause me to break out, but so far that has not happened to me.

I really want to try more of these type of cleanser, cleansers that aren't soapy I mean. I think my next buy will be the MAC cleanse off oil.

Today's the first day I've used the Bobbi Brown BB cream and so far I like it. It definitely has its pros and cons. I'll have a review up when I've had a few more days to try it out. :)

e.l.f Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks

 

From left to right, In the Nude, Pink Umbrellas, Movie Star, Sangria Starters. 

I really like these gloss sticks! I wouldn't exactly say they're super glossy but there's a little shine to them. They're pretty sheer but the color can be built up with a few layers. The colors are so easy to wear so if you don't want to commit to a full on lipstick than these are for you! :) they're not long lasting but like I said before, they're easy to wear and super easy to apply! 

The only con to these are the smell, they smell like mint tooth paste. It's not a gross smell but its fairly strong. 

My favorite color out of the four is, Pink Umbrellas.

You can buy these at Target or online, they cost $2 so such a good deal! Definitely worth the money.

My lip exfoliating routine

My nighttime lip exfoliating routine is a simple one! 

First I start out with clean wet lips, and then I rub the e.l.f Lip Exfoliator in circular motions for about 30 seconds. As soon as I'm done with that I rub my lips together and then rinse my lips off with some water. After I rinse my lips off I go in with a liberal layer of the Nivea Lip Butter in Smooth Kiss. I sleep with the balm on over night and when I wake up in the morning my lips are so smooth and ready for whatever lip product I want to wear that day. :) 

Let me just add that the Exfoliator smells and tastes so good!

I know that Nivea does some other lip butters but this one moisturizer my lips the best!

Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

Oh jeez, so much to say about this product. I'll just start with saying how much I LOVE it!

This mascara gives me long, full, dark lashes. It looks good with one coat but it's also very buildable and it hardly ever clumps on me. The formula is very wet. I know some people don't like that, but in my opinion I prefer wetter mascara over drier formulas. 

I bought this at Walgreens for only $2.99! You can't go wrong with that price. 

But anyway, I hope I've inspired you to try this product out. I hope you'll love it as much as I do :)
